Online Masters in Speech-Language Pathology No GRE - Updated 2022

Online Master of Speech-Language Pathology
Application must be completed (e-submitted, payment received, transcripts received) at least four weeks in advance of the deadline to ensure the application is verified on time by CSDCAS. Applications not verified by the deadline will not be eligible for that admissions cycle.
Application Deadlines: October 15 (Spring term), February 15 (Summer term), May 15 (Fall term)
CSDCAS charges $133 for the first program you apply to and $53 for each additional program. Calvin does not charge a separate application fee.
No GRE/GMAT
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent coursework in speech pathology and audiology, or with degrees in other disciplines/areas of study.
If you have a degree in another major, you need to complete the necessary prerequisites PRIOR to applying to the Master’s program.
A minimum overall GPA of at least a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale is required.
Transcripts: Official transcripts from all institutions attended.
3 letters of recommendation from persons familiar with your academic and/or professional abilities. (Must be uploaded to CSDCAS application.)
A personal statement that describes professional goals as well as three strengths and three areas of growth related to your place in a graduate program for speech-language pathology (maximum 500 words). (Must be uploaded to CSDCAS application.)
International Students: Due to students being required to be supervised by ASHA-certified speech-language pathologists for all clinical placements, including externships, this program is unable to accept international students for the distance education mode.

Online Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology
Applications will be accepted beginning October 1. The application deadline is February 1. All admission decisions will be made after the deadline.
Admission Requirements for CSDCAS are:
1. Application for Admission
2. Official transcripts from each college or university attended (including UNC). UNC currently requires a 3.0 minimum grade point average for regular admission to a graduate program.
3. Three letters of recommendation. Preferably, two of the three letters of recommendation will be from previous professors, but if that is not possible, then please make sure the letters of recommendation speak to your ability to perform well in a rigorous academic program.
4. Have a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or better (on a 4.00 scale) for the most recent degree earned or current degree in progress.
5. This program does not require GRE scores.
6. As all official transcripts are submitted to CSDCAS, they do not need to be resubmitted to the Office of Admissions.
