Texas Tech University online Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics is specifically designed for students who will receive a DPD verification statement, be completing a dietetic internship or for those who are currently Registered Dietitians Nutritionists. The flexibility of this online degree program allows you to earn your MS degree in dietetics through distance education without interrupting your family and work responsibilities.
GRE requirement has been waived for admission.
1. Complete the Standard Program Application.
2. Submit a personal statement addressing questions provided by DICAS. This is included with your application packet
3. Send Official Transcripts of ALL Universities attended.
4. Request a Verification Statement or Declaration of Intent from your DPD Director using DICAS request system.
5. Letters of Recommendation: TTU prefers 2 faculty and 1 employer for recommendation letters but can have 3 letters from faculty. Request through the DICAS system.

The university are looking for highly motivated, self-directed RDs/RDNs who are interested in earning a master’s degree and can thrive in our online environment. Criteria include:
(i) minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0
(ii) demonstrated evidence of ability to take responsibility for one's own learning in an online program
The GRE exam is not required.
Submit a completed graduate application with a non-refundable $50 fee (waived for SUNY Oneonta alumni)
Include a letter of application that addresses the following: 1) reason(s) for applying, 2) evidence of your personal and professional growth and achievement, 3) evidence of having developed the ability to assume considerable responsibility for your own learning, 4) career objectives, 5) previous experience with distance learning and/or independent learning, and 6) an analysis of your strengths and weaknesses that are relevant to completing this online M.S. – Nutrition and Dietetics Program.
