For individuals looking to enter the legal field or advance in their current position, CCE offers 14 certificate programs, including paralegal training, intellectual property law for engineers, employment law, alternative dispute resolution, legal nurse consultant. The programs are offered in partnership with the nationally acclaimed Center for Legal Studies by Barbri. We also offer additional online professional certificates, including some that are industry-specific .

This course provides a foundation in the U.S. debt markets and the funds transfer markets. The course covers the basics of debt, including the documentation and intercreditor issues of loans, security and guarantees. Both public and private debt is examined, including instruments and products of the US Treasury and other US government agencies, municipal bonds, corporate debt, commercial paper, certificates of deposit, leveraged leasing, factoring, repos, asset-based securitizations, reverses and swaps. The study of the funds transfer markets includes the Federal Reserve system, the discount window, Federal Funds and wire and other electronic funds transfer systems.

Students may take general Asian comparative and international law courses or choose from specialized courses on Chinese, Japanese or Pacific law. Students may also enroll in additional Asian-Pacific related courses in the University graduate schools to supplement their legal studies. We also encourage students to learn, or even improve their language skills during their time here.

The Advanced Certificate (AC) in Cytotechnology is a one-year, 26 credit, post-baccalaureate graduate program that prepares students for careers as cytotechnologists. It is being offered by Hunter College in collaboration with Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC). Upon successful completion of the AC, students will be eligible to sit for the national certification examination given by the American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification. The exam is also approved for NYS licensure purposes.
