Program Outline: Doctor of Philosophy in Education (PhD). All doctoral students in the School of Education, regardless of their terminal degree, take the same foundation courses. These core classes are designed to develop leadership by focusing on knowledge applicable to all fields and levels of education. Students then begin their individual course sequences and specializations through the Leadership Colloquium, comprehensive exams, and dissertation.

The Master of Arts in Cinema, Religion, and Worldview combines top-quality instruction in the narrative, artistic, and technical creation of films with classes in web and interactive filmmaking, and related media. We also explore: effective ways of sharing the gospel, foundations of Christian theology, audience research, and reaching people from a variety of cultural perspectives. This MA gives serious film creators the technical, artistic and intellectual skills they need to create powerful, beautiful films and change their world. The degree is an interdisciplinary program from the Communication and Languages, the Technology, and the School of Theology, and is housed in The Center for Media Ministry.
